Alex Purnell is a 22 year old DJ from Sydney, Australia. He was first introduced to Psytrance by a close mate when he was 16, showing him some psychedelic Trance music online.
Not long after, he started to attend the local bush doofs around the Sydney area and was instantly hooked to this psychedelic music and community.
His passion for Psytrance grew exponentially after each event he attended and he finally bought himself a pair of decks. Playing at his first event in early 2014, the magic kept on rolling, on and off the dance floor. By honing his skills he secured sets at other underground parties around Australia such as: Exploration, Lets get Stupid, Just Chilling, Psychological Overdose, Oxford Art Factory, Underworld, Psychotropic Vision's, Psyland, Hypnotic launch, Back 2 Basics (Perth) Earthcore sydney launch party and more.. throughout this period he has also supported; 4i20, Bionic Pulse, Triforce, Talpa, Perfect Stranger, Fender Bender, Effective, Daheen, Mandragora and many more

Alex Purnell est un DJ de 22 ans originaire de Sydney en Australie. C'est par un ami proche qu'il découvre la psytrance à ses 16 ans. Peu de temps après, il commença à côtoyer les événements du genre aux alentours de Sydney et fut instantément percuté par cette communauté.
La magie opère en 2014, lorsque Pr. Purn réalise son premier DJ set. Il devient alors une figure incontournable de la scène psytrance de Sydney en se produisant dans de nombreux événements tels que Exploration, Oxford Art Factory ou Psyland, ce qui lui permet de nouer des liens avec d'autres figures comme Fender Bender ou Mandragora.
Ses sets se démarquent par une habilité à transmettre au public à travers ses baselines galopantes et ses paysages sonores psychédéliques, vacillant entre 138 et 145 BPM.
